Vertical Blinds Instructions
- Always ensure blades open before drawing.
- Always stack blind away from the open window so that blades do not flap about in the breeze.
- Use a cord or wand to draw blind and also use the cord or wand mechanism to tilt blades. Never attempt to draw by hand.
- If blades get out of sync, simply rotate blades to fully closed position and continue rotating chain. You will hear the clutch mechanism engaging. Then rotate blades 180º in the opposite direction and continue to rotate after clutch engages. Open blades to 90º, all blades should have re-aligned.
- Control chain and cord must always be attached to recess or wall with Child Safety Clip.
- Lubricate track by spraying Silicone Spray along the inside of track once or twice a year.
Roller Blinds Instructions
- Chain operated: raise and lower by chain only.
- For motorised blinds use the remote control.
- Chains must always be attached to recess or wall with a Child Safety Clip.
- Do not to leave the blind down in front of an open window to avoid damage to the fabric. This will void your warranty.
Venetian Blinds Instructions
- The cord used to rotate blind slats.
- Slats must be rotated to open position before blind can be lifted.
- To lift blind all cords on lift mechanism must be grabbed together.
- When blind is raised to desired position jolt cords to the outer side of the blind and the lock mechanism will engage to unlock mechanism and lower blind grab all cords firmly together and pull slightly on cords and jolt slightly to the inner side of blind to lower.
- Guide blind down slowly, by allowing cords to slide slowly through fingers.
- If the hold down brackets is installed clip bottom rail into the hold down brackets to stabilise blind in windy situations.
- Always ensure to disengage hold down brackets before raising blinds.
- When blind is raised cords should be cleated to keep out of reach of children.
- Do not force blades apart with hands to reach window locks or handles. This force may buckle Aluminum blades or fracture Woodlook blades.
Roman Blinds Instructions
Cord Operated:
To lower blind grab cord, jolt to release mechanism and lower to either desired position or bottom. To lock in the desired position simply jolt cord.
To raise blind, grab the cord and raise to the desired position, then jolt cord to engage the lock. When blind is raised cord should be cleated to keep out of reach of children.
Chain Operated:
To raise or lower blind simply rotate chain till blind reaches the desired position.
The chain must be attached to wall or recess using a Child Safe clip.
Panel Glides Instructions
Use wand making sure the wand is not hitting the fabric to glide panels to the desired open or closed position.
Do not grab fabric to open & close blind.
Lubricate track by spraying Silicone Spray along inside of track once or twice a year.
Cleaning of fabric
*Surface dust may be removed with a gentle brush, feather duster or clean dry cloth.
*Spot Cleaning- It is recommended that stains and spills are attended to promptly. Simply dab the fabric with a sponge and lukewarm water. If marks are still visible, add a little mild detergent and gently dry with a clean cloth. For removal of dirt and grime, a white magic sponge or art gum rubber is excellent for cleaning small marks.
